Industrial Complex located in the UAE aims to provide industrialized food to the entire Middle East area.
Description of the Project:
Sadia is one of the biggest food companies in the world. The Sadia brand has been voted as the most important and valued amongst the food field brands in Brazil.
The Middle East Industrial Complex of Sadia will have 50.000 m2 divided in two main facilities: the process building and the personnel bulding. This last one will have a Visitor area, recreational area, laboratories, offices, kitchen, cafeteria and a mosque.
Our importance:
There are many challenges Poch will face in this project: the engineering will be developed in Chile, all the decisions will be taken in Brazil and the construction will take place in the Middle East. The respect for the local culture and traditions, the geography of the place, sand storms and natural resources are in the first place in the architectonic and engineering designs.
The consulting services provided by Poch comply with the FIDIC (Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils) and correspond to project management, the complete engineering for civil, mechanical and piping, electrical and instrumentation, automation, sanitary, hydraulics, refrigeration, climate control and fire protection specialties.
Essential benefit:
For being placed in a desert, with temperatures above 50ºC, sand storms, and no water, the design will incorporate the Green Building, sustainability and efficiency of energy concepts. The use of state of the art technologies will permit the most efficient use of all the available resources.
