Poch develops the entire engineering of this Greenfield project for the biggest turkey producer in Chile.
Description of the Project:
Sopraval is the biggest turkey producer in Chile and the second one in Latin America. Its production is oriented to the local consumption as well as to the international consumption and their main destination markets are Mexico and the European Community.
In the context of an important increase in the consumption of poultry registered in Chile during the last decade and the increase in the bird exports, Sopraval S.A. considers the construction and operation of a new turkey pellets food elaboration plant. With this it expects to increase its productive capacity from present 20,000 Ton/month to 35,000 Ton/month, to supply its breeding grounds in the Fifth Region.
Our importance:
The multidisciplinary team of Poch took the challenge of developing this Greenfield project, including the project management and the services of Conceptual, Basic and Detail Engineering for the civil, mechanical and piping, electrical, automatic control, sanitary, hydraulic, climate control and fire protection specialties.
In addition, Poch developed the environmental impact declaration, assuring the plant’s operations sustainability.
