Poch participates in the most important Chilean Agro-Industrial Greenfield project of its history with a total investment of US$ 550M.
Description of the Project:
Agrosuper is a food products export company with high competitiveness at an international level. The challenges imposed by the market grow daily regarding diversity and complexity.
The agro-alimentary sector periodically requires the use of new geographic zones for animal breeding. This led Agrosuper to choose the region of Atacama to expand its exporting capacity.
The industrial complex considers a total investment of US$ 600M including, a marine terminal, maternity, breeding sectors, food plant, farm work plant, flour plants, treatment plants, medium voltage transmission lines, electric generators and electric substation, among other facilities.
This project for 1.5 million pigs located in a 70 thousand hectares estate will incorporate more than 3,000 people strongly expanding the opportunities of this region.
Our importance:
Poch’s multidisciplinary team took the challenge of developing this Greenfield project, including the Construction Management and the site supervision.
Concerning the electrical supply, the entire transmission lines engineering in 220 kV was done, and 2 substations of 50 MVA and 90 km distribution in 23 kV.
