The Poch-Ardanuy consortium develops projects to improve metropolitan public transport quality.
Description of the Project:
Within the framework of the Urban Transportation Investment Plan developed by the Government for the city of Santiago, the extension of Line 5 up to Maipú Square and the extension of Line 1 up to Los Dominicos Square has been defined. These projects require a reinforcement of the existing infrastructure in Line 1. This project is part of that.
The Bucle Pajaritos project has the objective of accelerating and giving more flexibility in the stretches that present greater demand, diminishing the time between trains and improving the service quality.
The Neptuno Junction project has the objective of shorten the entrance and exit times of the trains going to and from Neptuno Garages.
The accomplishment of these projects intends to optimize the operation of the existing lines and obtain an increase in the service frequency in the more demanded stretches.
Our importance:
Poch, in alliance with the Ardanuy consultant, participates in the Details Engineering of these projects, offering a human working team with great experience in Metro (underground) matters.
