Description of the Project:
Montes Vineyard is an important company world-wide in the wine production field, characterized for elaborating Premium category wines. It is perhaps one of the most recognized Chilean wine brands at an international level.
Today the Montes wines are mainly destined to export to more than seventy five countries in all five continents. Montes Vineyard has been a pioneer at a local level in many aspects. It produced the first ultra-premium wine (Montes Alpha M), the first Carménère (over 75%), and has become the benchmark of most of the Chilean vineyards.
With a capacity of 2.3 million liters per year, the Montes Vineyard Winery, located in the heart of the famous Apalta valley (Colchagua), is dedicated to producing icons with the Montes Alpha M level, Montes Folly and Purple Angel level, in addition to the main line, the red Montes Alpha. The storage includes the latest generation advances resulting in a technological model itself, in its field.
Our importance:
Poch was in charge of the project management, the engineering of several specialties (civil structural, electrical, piping, sanitary, automation and environmental), contracts administration, construction management, technical supervision , commissioning and start-up of each one of the systems involved.
The declaration of environmental impact, as well as the area legal work, were carried out by Poch. In 7 months time, the Apalta Winery of Viña Montes began its operations, allowing it to reach the total production and storage capacity in 2004.
