Greenfield Project developed by Poch for one of the most modern fish food plants in South America.
Description of the Project:
Skretting is the leading fish food supplier in the world. It provides the latest products and services in the nutrition area to the fish farmers in the world for the sustainable production of healthy fish. It operates companies in all five continents in order to produce and deliver the best foods starting from the reproduction to the harvest, for more than 50 species of farm fish.
This plant of fattening fish food located in Pargua brought an important increase of the foods productive capacity for the national salmon industry when incorporating two production lines, each one with an average capacity of 15 tons per hour.
In this project the level of automation and integration of all the equipment stands out, allowing detailed controls of production. This reflects in a significant increase of the productive efficiency normally obtained in these types of plants.
Our importance:
Poch helped with the Basic and Details Engineering for the civil structural, mechanical, electrical, process and automation specialties. It was in charge of the project management, procurement, construction management, technical inspection, commissioning and start-up of the plant.
Essential benefit:
Skretting, through its Pargua plant, has been able to respond to the feeding needs of practically all the Salmon Farms in Chile in a great way, with great satisfaction and recognition on behalf of them.
