Poch designed and developed the entire engineering of the modern winery of Ventisquero Vineyard.
Description of the Project:
Ventisquero Vineyard is a company dedicated to elaborate wines of excellence, produced with the latest technology and with an excellent price/quality relation of its products.
This company is leader in innovation, production capacity, innocuousness and environmental protection, standing among the main exporting vineyards in Chile.
The Ventisquero Winery is able to process and to store nearly 24 million liters of wine per year, allowing it to produce over millions of boxes in 2004, guaranteeing the satisfaction and demands of the most recognized Chilean and international markets.
Our importance:
Poch was responsible for the project management, for the development of the specialties engineering (civil structural, electrical, mechanical, piping, sanitary, process, automation, environmental, management), of the construction management, technical inspection, commissioning and start-up of the whole facility.
In a period of 10 months, in its first stage, Ventisquero Winery began its operations, allowing it to become one of the companies with the highest wine production and export in Chile. The second and third stages confirmed the important positioning of Ventisquero in the global market.
Poch also helped with the implementation of international standards in quality management, environment and security and food innocuousness, allowing the plant to obtain the ISO9001, ISO14001, HACCP and BRC certifications.
Essential benefit:
The construction of Ventisquero Winery, finished in 2000, enabled Ventisquero Vineyard to increase its production capacity managing to reach a storage capacity of 24 million liters per year in 2000. In 2004 Ventisquero Vineyard was able to beat the first million boxes of wine sold locally and world-wide.
