Description of the Project:
Sadia is one of the biggest food companies in the world. The Sadia brand has been voted as the most important and valued amongst the food field brands in Brazil.
The growing rate of Sadia takes it to count on 12 industrial plants only in Brazil, producing more than 1.3 million tons of food from chicken, turkey, bovine, and pig, in addition to industrialized food such as pastas, margarines and desserts.
The project beholds an industrial complex of great scale that includes a chicken and turkey food factory of 96.000 ton/month within its main facilities, in addition to a 50.000m2 building for the slaughtering of 2,500 turkeys and 30,000 chickens per hour.
This Greenfield project will be done by stages. The industrial complex would be operating in the second semester of 2010.
Poch will develop the Conceptual, Basic and Detail Engineering for the civil, structural, mechanical and piping, electrical and instrumentation, automation, sanitary, hydraulics, refrigeration, climate control and fire protection specialties.
Campo Verde is perhaps the most strategic and important project in course for Sadia, habilitating new areas for the breeding and slaughtering of animals in Brazil.
