Description of the Project:
Minera El Abra is a society dedicated to the prospection, exploration and exploitation of the El Abra mining deposit. Codelco owns 49% of the shareholder participation of the society and Cyprus El Abra to Corporation the remaining 51%.
As in all mining exploitation the movement of material through conveyor belts is common. Within the environmental policies of Minera El Abra, the solution of the dust material generation of the unloading of the 120-CV-103 belt to the primary grind Stock Pile is considered.
The project contemplates the identification of the generation centers of this particled material, the presentation of the solutions in the Basic Engineering level and the investment estimation of these solutions.
