Mechanical
The main work of the mechanical engineering specialty is to design, dimension and specify different types of equipment for a project, then to integrate all these solutions in a layout plan and generate an overall design of a specific process.
To develop designs different types of 2D and 3D computational tools are used, which are then used to generate all the documentation necessary to implement a project and to forecast the interferences with other engineering specialties.
Mechanical projects apply to the different areas of the industry: mining, agroindustry, buildings, retail, chemical, fuel, industrial, etc.
Piping
Poch’s piping specialty designs, dimensions and specifies all the networks of pipes and fittings that provide service to a specific system or equipment that are part of a production process. Network designs involve hydraulics, mechanical and chemical resistance calculations, to ensure they comply with the specified requirements.
For the design 3D computational tools are used, which generate all necessary documentation to develop a project and to forecast the interferences with other engineering specialties.
Piping projects have application in different areas of the industry such as: mining, agroindustry, buildings, retail, chemical, fuel, industrial, etc.
Process
The process specialty work is focused primarily on designing and sizing a production process or system in order to establish the dimensions and capacities of its major components, then reflecting this design on a mass balance and / or utilities and process diagram. All designs are mainly aimed at optimizing the productive processes, looking for its simplicity, economy and efficiency.
To assist with the design different computational tools for calculation and simulation of processes are used, thus allowing performing different types of simulations and sensitivity analysis.
This specialty has different market applications, among which are: mining, agroindustry, chemicals, fuels, industrial, etc.
